WPSBA IS PART OF THE NATIONAL CONVERSATION ON CIVIC ENGAGEMENT
WE ARE MEMBERS OF A NEW STATEWIDE COALITION called DemocracyReady NY. Forged by the Center for Educational Equity at Teachers College (led by Michael Rebell), this group's goal is to ensure that all NY schools are equipped and committed to preparing students to be active participants in our democracy. Adult and youth leaders will work together to raise awareness, impact State law and policy, and improve opportunities for civic readiness.
