THE WPSBA LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY COMMITTEE is always working toward concrete results. It's time to finalize our 2019 advocacy agenda, so come learn about the regional priorities and participate in the process on November 29th, 7:45 pm - 9:15 pm at Rye City SD Central Admin. Bldg. Even if you think you're a novice at advocacy, your insight is welcome.
RECENT FOCUS ON CIVICS EDUCATION HAS AFFECTED POLITICAL ACTIVISM
AS EDUCATORS WORK TO ENSURE STUDENTS ARE PREPARED TO PARTICIPATE in democracy, research shows that students are in fact becoming more politically active. Of course this is good news, but some schools have reported different levels of civility. Another notable change is the number of HS students who are expressing interest in the political leanings of the colleges they are considering.
The Chalkboard staff is anticipating tryptophan symptoms next week.
