THESE STUDENTS ARE GETTING REAL-LIFE EXPOSURE TO creating videos and interviewing Broadway producers. In this film and screenwriting class, high schoolers are experiencing hands-on learning. Think: a professional look at filmmaking, and a backstage pass for a Broadway musical.

THEY'RE HEADING TO THE POLLS. A shift in voting patterns is expected to reflect a younger, more diverse electorate. The recent rash of school shootings is seen as a key factor in raising the level of engagement of the country's youngest voters.
