The first Business After Hours of 2019 will be held at Anchored - Sweet Treats & Savory Eats in Mount Airy on tomorrow, February 7. This special networking event is hosted by the Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce and the invitation is extended to all members of the Chamber, non-members interested in joining, and especially to the Downtown Merchants of Mount Airy. Each March the Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce hosts the Excellence in Business Awards. Several awards are presented to businesses and individuals in the business community to recognize them for their achievements.
These awards include:
- Small Business of the Year
- Business Longevity Award
- Duke Energy Citizenship and Service Award
- Outstanding Public Service Award
- Ambassador of the Year
- Excellence in Tourism Award
- Administrative Professional of the Year
- Business and Education Partner Award (NEW)
The deadline for award nominations is Friday, March 1. You can now begin nominating businesses and individuals for these awards by using the PDF Nomination Form below. An electronic nomination form will be available soon.
