Chamber efforts result in Lockheed Martin visit to Macomb

The Macomb County Chamber of Commerce recently initiated a partnership among the Department of Planning & Economic Development, Macomb Community College, Macomb Regional PTAC and Pure Michigan resulting in Lockheed Martin's supplier diversity procurement team scheduling a visit to Macomb Wednesday, May 17, at the Macomb University Center.  The purpose of their visit is to help connect Lockheed Martin with qualified cost-competitive Michigan companies that can fulfill some of their most pressing needs.  For more information or an application to be considered to meet with Lockheed Martin, click here.

Congratulations to Neil King Physical Therapy on expanding into the St. Clair Shores area at 22237 Greater Mack Ave. Their ribbon cutting was held on Thursday, March 2. 

The Baroque Concerto

The Macomb Symphony Orchestra (MSO) presents The Baroque Concerto on Sunday, March 26th, 3:00 p.m., at the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts (located on Garfield at Hall Road in Clinton Township). Sixth Annual Entrepreneur-YOU Conference Slated for 
March 15

Registration is now open for the sixth annual Southeast Michigan Women's Entrepreneur-YOU conference, a collaborative initiative to help women become successful business owners.The conference is presented by Inforum, Michigan Women's Foundation, and Walsh College, with the support of Fifth Third Bank, and will held on Wednesday, March 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Troy campus, 3838 Livernois Rd., Troy.For a full list of speakers and to register, visit
