Macomb Foundation announces 2017 Athena Award Nominees

The Macomb Foundation has announced the 2017 nominees for the prestigious ATHENA Award. The international ATHENA award recognizes individuals who actively assist women in realizing their full leadership potential:  Judge Linda Davis; Lisa Edwards; Dr. Kim Getzinger; Susan Glover; Demetria Gross; Mike Markel; Carolyn Martin; Anne Nicolazzo; Jackie Roskopp; Adele Saba; and Ursula Warren.  For more information and to register for the May 5th event, click here.

Sales & Marketing Conference a success!

With more than 150 people in attendance, many vendors participating and almost 10 presenters, this year's Sales & Marketing Conference presented with the Sterling Heights Chamber was definitely a success.  You won't want to miss this one next year!

Gardening Experts at Garden Party Weekend

English Gardens is hosting its Garden Party Weekend on April 1 and April 2, where gardening experts will share the latest tips and trends at all 6 of their store locations. It's an event that will be packed full of informative gardening and decorating seminars. Each day will feature workshops and seminars scheduled between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Free booth to new artist applicants at Sterlingfest

Sterlingfest, the city's much-loved summertime art and music fair every July, is opening up an application for four FREE booth spaces to new artist applicants.  The art fair is juried and generally costs $230 for a single booth and $410 for a double booth over the three-day weekend. Sterlingfest 2017 is set for Thursday, July 27 through Saturday, July 29 and runs daily 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Contact Brigdet Koslowski for details.
