CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Children's Church and Toddler care for Sunday Services are key ways that we support the faith development of children, and hospitality to young families.

Children may go to Children's Church after the first hymn and return later in the service in time for the anthem.  We are making a couple of adjustments to the Sunday service to give a bit more time for the Children's Church lesson, and a bit less back-in-the service time.

Please sign up on the Sunday clipboard to help!

GIFTS WITH VISION

This year's United Church "Gifts with Vision" book has arrived!

This year a Morley-based program, listed under "Cultural Revitalization," is one of the options.   A great alternative to giving "stuff" at Christmas (or anytime!)

"HEALING NARRATIVES: STORIES WE TELL ABOUT CANCER"

November 21 from 11:00 am - 12:30pm  MST

Webinar: David Giuliano's new book "It's Good To Be Here" challenges the ubiquitous and one dimensional "battle with cancer" narrative, with alternative narratives about temples, treasure, light, pilgrimage, wolves and love. In this webinar we'll invite him to reflect on how those different narratives might change the ways that we can offer pastoral and spiritual care to those struggling with cancer and other serious illness.

Help out by volunteering on a Monday night. No experience necessary. There are now two shifts each evening.
