HEAL - AFTER WORSHIP THIS SUNDAY

The Healing Pathway Ministry will be showing this inspiring Award Winning documentary on healing this Sunday -  February 4, 2018 at 11:45 in the Sanctuary.

The greatest healer is within:  Change your mind. Change your body. Change your life.

"HEAL not only taps into the brilliant minds of leading scientists and spiritual teachers but follows two people on actual high stakes healing journeys. Healing can be extremely complex and deeply personal, but it can also happen spontaneously in a moment. Through these inspiring and emotional stories we find out what works, and what doesn't."

There will be soup and buns and gluten free options served after Sunday worship on February 4th (one week away!) at 11:00.

We hope you can join us. Check out the trailer below.

RCMUC AFFIRMING MINISTRY CONGREGATION SURVEY

As RCMUC moves towards becoming another " Affirming" church in Canada - welcoming of all, including folks who identify as LGBTQ - we ask that all members of our congregation fill out this brief 8 question survey to help the Affirm committee chart our course going forward. Our goal is to holding a final vote on approving the Affirm designation by the end of 2018.

THE ABC'S OF LGBTQ2...A...I...P...etc.

Join us after Worship on Sunday, February 18th for an informative session with Rev. Shannon Mang.

Once upon a time there were only males and females and these two groups of people would fall in love and get married...to each other.

That 'once upon a time' existed when the amazing diversity of biological sex; gender identity and sexual attraction was ignored. Conversation about sexual diversity has opened up a brand new dictionary of ways that people express their lived experience; a dictionary that is constantly changing as the conversation continues.

We will introduce folks to the words and the world of sexual diversity as we know it...now!

WHY I BELIEVE
Daily Devotions on Faith & Discipleship

Lent begins on February 14th.
In this Lenten devotional, a variety of members and friends of the church told us about their personal faith journeys. We are excited to share their candid, thoughtful reflections. What does it mean to follow Jesus, remain faithful, and choose hope, especially during times of uncertainty and doubt?

Daily devotions included a scripture passage, personal reflection, hymn suggestions, reflections question, and prayer.  Study guide included.
