NEWS & COMING EVENTS news
THIS SUNDAY - THE VERY REVEREND BILL PHIPPS

Our guest preacher on Sunday, November 18 will be The Very Rev. Bill Phipps, Moderator of the United Church of Canada from 1997-2000.

Over the years, Bill has been a fearless spokesperson and activist for the rights of Indigenous People and the needs of the planet.

In 1998, he delivered the United Church's Apology to Indigenous people, regarding the damage done by the Indian Residential School system.

We've hoped to have Bill come and preach at RCMUC for many years and are delighted that he will be joining us on the 18th.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Children's Church and Toddler care for Sunday Services are key ways that we support the faith development of children, and hospitality to young families.

Children may go to Children's Church after the first hymn and return later in the service in time for the anthem.  We are making a couple of adjustments to the Sunday service to give a bit more time for the Children's Church lesson, and a bit less back-in-the service time.

ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED DURING THE CHRISTMAS SEASON

We have more children attending Church in December. We now have easy to lead lessons pre-prepared in the upstairs cupboard.

Please sign up on the Sunday clipboard to help!

November 21 from 11:00 am - 12:30pm  MST
