EARTH HOUR

This Earth Hour, Saturday, March 24 at 8:30 p.m. local time, switch off your lights to draw attention to wildlife loss in Canada and around the world.

How to mark Earth Hour
  • Get together with others to share stories and photos of your favourite natural places. It is out of love for these places that we will work to preserve them. You can find some images and stories on the Earth Hour website.
  • Read some stories like this recent blog from Citizens for Public Justice staff Karri Munn-Venn about her time at the 2017 UN Climate Conference.
  • Share a daily practice of love for God's creation that you might want to foster or strengthen in the months and days to come.

To book a session or inquire about this gentle healing ministry by appointment.
Please contact: Vicky Connoy at vconnoy@hotmail.com
or call her at 403-609-2428.

Each Wednesday night at 7:15, we gather for holy silence, chant, song, reflective words, and experience the gentle nudging of the Spirit.
Sometimes we will also incorporate poetry, or art, or physical movement.
"Come and find the quiet centre".

Join the choir every Thursday,
at 7:30 pm in the Sanctuary.
New singers are always welcome!

Rehearses the second and fourth Monday of each month from 7:30 - 9:00 pm in the sanctuary. Threshold Choir singing is described as "kindness made audible".

If you would like to learn more about the practice of bedside singing, visit thresholdchoir.org , or contact Jan Tissandier, jan.tissandier@gmail.com

New members welcome!
