Why Should We Become Stewards?

  • To have a church for prayer and educational, cultural, and spiritual growth
  • To meet our parishioners' needs
  • To maintain our facilities
  • To ensure our church for generations
  • To support all of the wonderful programs and ministries listed in this bulletin
  • To have a voice in electing our church leaders

Your annual stewardship commitment will help sustain our parish and contribute towards its growth. If you like what St. John's does in our community, and want to ensure that future generations of our families will always have a place of worship to call their home in the years ahead, please support us by becoming a Steward.

If you have questions or are unsure of your stewardship status, please call the church office at 248-569-3405. Thank you!

ST. JOHN COMMUNITY STUDY REPORT RESULTS NOW AVAILABLE

The results of the St. John Armenian Apostolic Church Community Study Report, which was undertaken by Dr. Vahe Sahakyan and Arus Khcheyan Movsesyan of the Armenian Research Center at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, are now available. We encourage our community members to read and discuss their findings, which are the result of written surveys and in-person information-gathering sessions in 2023-24. We anticipate convening a special parish town hall meeting on this important report in the near future.

AN APPEAL FOR OUR ARMENIAN AMERICAN VETERANS' BUILDING

Armenian American Veterans'

Building Gymnasium

January 23, 1971

Since 1963, the Armenian American Veterans' Building has housed the many needs and interests of our community, from bridge classes to basketball games, Senior Lunch to ACYOA meetings, and even as a temporary sanctuary during our recent church renovations. Today, this community gem that has given us so much needs our help.

St. John needs you to join the crowd and support the Armenian American Veterans' Building renovation project, giving for the future to honor our past.

Please click here or on the image below for a brochure with more information on this vital, community-driven project. To give directly, please click here. Your participation and support is greatly appreciated!
