Reminder: Q4 Marketing Promotional Kit: Wich of the Day and 21^st Birthday



On or before November 8, stores will be receiving a POP Kit filled with new in-store marketing materials. HERE IS A GUIDE TO WHAT YOU WILL BE RECEIVING. In addition to the marketing materials, stores will also be receiving a new Recipe Guide.

Please note: the 21^st Birthday Scratch Tickets will be arriving later and separately. Please keep them locked away until the promotion begins and let Teams know that employees are not eligible. If Kits are not received by November 8, please email marketing@whichwich.com.

The Wich of the Day promotion will begin on Monday, November 11. As a reminder, the Daily Deal price will match that of a store’s Wicked Wednesday pricing.

The 21^st Birthday material should be posted Dec. 1 and tickets should be handed out starting on that date as well, while supplies last.

Kids Eat Free Promotion



By now, stores should have received a case of Project PB&J boxes. As communicated in the Ops Promo Manual, these boxes are to be used for Kids Meals during the Kids Eat Free Weekends promotion that starts on 11/16. If a location has not received these boxes, please email purchasing@whichwich.com or marketing@whichwich.com.

Black Friday is around the corner and stores should be reaching out to big box retailers, manufacturers, and shipping companies to be the vendor of choice for team catering. HERE IS A GUIDE that contains a variety of templates, links, and tips for driving Black Friday and Cyber Monday catering sales. November 2024 Commodity Headlines

Category Notes:

Beef: Upside price risk due to continued decrease in beef herd. Continuing to see mixed pricing based on region and cut.

Pork Items: Have begun to see cost flatten and expectation to potentially see a slight decrease in pricing over the next couple of months.

Dairy Items: Continuing to see overall upside pressure on dairy items due to the herd not expanding and output per cow not showing growth. Possible reprieve on cheese in early 2025.

Bacon Transition

As communicated, the Brand is in the process of transitioning to bacon strips. This will be a market-by-market rolling transition. See item below.

It is recommended to look at BBWCH Order Guide when placing orders to see if the product shows. All stores are approved to start ordering as soon as the item is available in the order guide.

Righteous Group Order Special

The Righteous group order special starts TODAY 11/6/24. Place orders before 11:59 PM on 11/13/24 to get in on this limited time offer. Just go to https://whichwich.authenticmerch.com/product-category/specials to place orders.

Q4 Marketing Promotions – Operations Procedures



As outlined in recent communications, Which Wich will be adding the Bag of the Day and Kids Eat Free Programs. Please click HERE for Operational information on each program.

Bread Cutting at P1: Do Not Pre-Cut

As noted last week, if bread is being pre-cut before the shift, please discontinue this practice immediately. Cutting bread to order will facilitate the best Wich possible for guests and is the brand standard. Pre-cutting bread, though potentially easing P1’s production process, ultimately allows the bread to begin drying out before going through the oven.



FBCs will be monitoring this as they continue to visit restaurants.

Updated Recipe Guide: Bacon Strips



As outlined in recent communications, the Brand is switching back to Strip Bacon from Bacon Pieces. As a result, the Which Wich Recipe Guide has been updated to facilitate this change. Following are the key changes to the Recipe Guide and to the Line Procedures, as well as links to the updated Training materials:

• Recipe Guide 2024 BTTF Strip Bacon Update
• Bacon Updates
• Any notation of bacon pieces (1oz Black Scoop) have been replaced with bacon strips (2 Bacon Strips per 1-1oz Black Scoop)
• Portions will be:
• Regular:         2 Strips
• Large:             3 Strips
• Super:             4 Strips
• BLT will be 6 strips for the Regular 7” Wich. 9 & 12 for the Large & Super
• Bacon strips will now always go on the Wich at P2. They will/should always be the last item on the Wich before placing on the oven belt
• Pepperoni then Bacon on the top of the Wich before placing in oven
• ElvisWich will still need to have bacon cooked on foil so the peanut butter can be easily spread on the bread at P3 once toasted. Then add bacon after peanut butter; then the banana and honey last

• Other Updates
• Portion Chart (pg. 5.5):
• Added Turkey Club to the “Detailed Multiple Meat Wraps for Large Wiches”
• As it’s a Turkey Club, the Large should be 1 wrap turkey plus 1/2 wrap ham for the two meats in question. Of course, 3 slices of bacon for a Large.
• Land & Sea: A reminder that the “Detailed Multiple Meat Wraps for Large Wiches” for this Wich is
• 1 scoop krab and 1 wrap steak (microwaved)
• Microwave Times/Chart
• Updated Meatball times:
• Meatballs (only)                     Now 30 seconds
• Meatballs & Marinara:          Now 45 Seconds (be sure to “pop” the Marinara pc lids when placing in microwave to keep from bursting)
• Please reprint and post the updated Microwave Chart
• Turkey Bacon Ranch: Ranch quantity in the Turkey Bacon Ranch has been changed to 2Ws (4 lines) in the parenthesis pages of the Recipe Guide
• Pre-Work Training Doc has been updated to reflect the strip bacon and other updates
• Build Chart has also been updated to reflect the strip bacon and other updates
