We highly encourage community members to try to attend the 2nd and 3rd Jumu'ah prayers if they are able to avoid the 1st Jumu'ah prayer to help alleviate our traffic challenge.

Please note this year Fitra is $15.00 per person

 The Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati (ICGC) is supported by membership dues & financial donations made by the community. If you are not already a member of our Center consider joining us today.

Membership has many benefits, including:

• IWS tuition at a discounted rate.

•  Rental of the Mirror Hall or GYM at a discounted rate.

•  Priority registration in sports activities.

•  Priority purchase of Eid parking passes.

•  Periodic mailing of newsletters and event flyers.

•  General Body meeting.

•  Voting rights to elect Board of Trustees members.

To anticipate and address the increased demand for parking for the weekend taraweh prayers, ICGC is providing shuttle busing between the Meijer parking lot and ICGC from 8:30 pm to 12 am midnight.

We encourage those who are able to please park at Meijer and take the shuttle and allow the elders and those with physical challenges access to the ICGC parking. It would be much appreciated. May Allah reward you for accommodating this humble request!

Imam Hossam Musa Open Office Hours

Imam Musa will have open office hours every Wednesday between 2:00 -4:00 pm, starting May 3rd Insha’ Allah unless he is on vacation or has other commitments.

There are no appointments needed, it will be on a first come first served.

Islamic Relief USA hosts meal packing event for Ramadan in Cincinnati

WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio —The Islamic celebration of Ramadan is officially underway and a local organization spent this holiday giving back.

Islamic Relief USA hosted a meal pack at the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati in West Chester on Sunday, to combat food insecurity. Volunteers packed Ramadan meal bags that included beans and vitamins to help provide a nutritious meal. "All the volunteers in this room are fasting and it's like the later half of the day so they're starting to get hungry, and so they're packing meals for people that are also hungry," said Wsmah Siddiqui, volunteer engagement specialist. "It's giving them hope and it's giving them brighter futures and it's incredible what everyone's doing here today."

Organizers said their goal was to pack 30,000 bags to send overseas to populations in need. Ramadan lasts through April 20.Click here to see the Video

CAIR-Ohio will be having its third Summer Internship Development Program (SIDP) this June! SIDP is a four-week training intensive designed for college students, graduate students, and recent grads looking to jump-start their skills in grassroots activism and advocacy.

Interns will develop professional skills, gain insight into the societal impact of public service, create important community connections, and obtain work experience to help advance their future academic and professional endeavors. 

Applications are due by Sunday, April 2nd!
