ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR 2023 SCHOLRASHIPS

National Merit Scholars, Commended Scholars & High ACT Achievers: On behalf of Sr. Sadiqa Rahman and Dr. Sheikh Abdur Rahman (sponsors), ICGC will be recognizing National Merit Scholars, Commended Scholars & High ACT achievers with a Scholarship of $200/child. If any student who is graduating from HS this year (2023) & has received the confirmation of being a finalist for National Merit scholar, or is a commended Merit Scholar or has 35/36 in ACT.

Scholarship for Memorization of Quran (Hafidh or Hafidha)

Sr Sadiqa Rahman and Dr. Sheikh Abdur Rahman will be sponsoring scholarships

($200/child) to our community children who have finished memorization of Quran in 2022.

High School Scholarships (only for Weekend Islamic School Graduates)

Weekend Islamic School at ICGC will be recognizing 2 High school seniors (2023),

who either already graduated or graduating this year from weekend school. This Scholarship ($500 each) is sponsored by Sr. Salma Munir, Late Muhammad Munir (parents of Dr. Ahmad Munir), Sr. Mahira Ahmed & Syed Shafi Ahmed (parents of Sr. Maria Munir).

Scholarship is based on student’s performance over the years in the weekend Islamic school, in regular high school and their contribution towards the community services at large and the leadership role they have played in the school.
