It is with our deep sorrow and heavy heart we wanted to notify the passing of sister Azeema Begum on Saturday, January 27, 2024 in India. O Allah, forgive Aunty Azeema and elevate her station among those who are guided. Send her along the path of those who came before, and forgive us and her, O Lord of the worlds. Enlarge her grave and shed light upon her in it. 

She was the beloved mother of Br. Nazir Shaik, mother-in-law of Sameena Aoukka, grandmother of Rayhan Nazir and Rina Nazir.

Please make Dua for the departed soul. May Allah SWT shower her soul with Mercy, forgive her short comings and grant her the highest place in Jannat-ul-firdous. May Allah SWT give sabr to the bereaved family. Allahumma Ameen.

It is with deep sorrow and heavy heart we want to notify the passing of Yousuf Mir Hussain on Thursday, Feb 1, 2024, in Hyderabad, India.

The Janazah & and burial took place at Masjid Alamgeer, Hyd, India, and was led by eldest son Mushtaq Hussain.

He was the Father of Br. Ashfaq Hussain Najeed, Father-in-law Sadia Anjum Najeed & Grandfather of Ayesha, Mustafa, Mujtaba, Ibraheem, Ismaeel & and Ilyas Najeed. 

He is survived by his wife Rafath Tahera Afzal and other two sons Mushtaq & and Irshad and grandchildren Sarah, Hajer, Mariyam, Omar, Rehan, Mohammed, Abdullah, Zainab, and Abdul Rahman.

Please make Dua for the departed soul.

May Allah SWT shower this beautiful soul with Mercy, forgive his shortcomings, and grant him the highest place in Jannat-ul-firdous. May Allah SWT give sabr to the bereaved family. Allahumma Aameen

The family is also requesting dua for Br. Ashfaq Najeed's mom as she is very sick.

ICGC Vice Chair Dr. Samina Sohail and CAIR National Chair Roula Allouch, JD, did a presentation about the Historical Context and Responsible Activism around Palestine at a local high school. 

 It was a well-received educational session that was attended by 500 students/faculty.

Mark your calendars for ICGC’s annual Midwest Muslim Singles event on Saturday, 2/24/24! We’re excited for ICGC’s collaboration with Half Our Deen’s Baba Ali to host this MMS event in Cincinnati!

Gaza Fundraising Dinner

Please join us this Friday for a lovely recitation by one of our great reciters, Sheikh Mohammed Jebreel, and a talk on Palestine and a fundraiser for Gaza with Imam Abdulrahman Elridi from Masjid Qibaa, Virginia.

Sheikh Mohamed Abbas will also be joining the event, and will perform Anasheed Inshallah!

Please note, that we reached the capacity for dinner, Alhamdulillah, you can still join the event after dinner in the Musllah. 

Dinner will be served in the Mirror Hall after Magrib.
