We are saddened to announce the passing of Noura Alshammari, daughter of Nawaf Alshammari and Fatma Alshammari, and the sister of Youssef, Albandari, Reem, Omar, Soud and Hazzah. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 15th at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. She was 18 years old; a senior graduating from Mason City School. The family is asking you to pray the absence funeral prayer this Friday at Jumaa Prayer (ICGC). Please make Dua for the departed soul.

May Allah shower this beautiful soul with Mercy and grant her Jannah Elferdous. May Allah give sabr to the bereaved family. Ameen.

ICGC is a member of the Coalition for Gaza, a new group made up of interfaith, justice and peace organizations focusing on the humanitarian and advocacy efforts for Gaza. Ceasefire resolutions have been adopted by over 50 cities, and we are proposing Cincinnati sign one as well. Please scan the QR code below to review and sign the letter (as individuals), asking Council to adopt a ceasefire resolution. You do not need to reside in Cincinnati to sign.  See the links for more information about the Coalition.
