  • Communion will be a part of the services at 5 pm and 7 pm on Christmas Eve and at 10 am on Christmas Day.

  • Regular worship services will continue through Advent on Saturdays at 5:30 pm, and Sundays at 8:15 am and 10:30 am with Sunday School at 9:15 am.

Suitcases Needed
The Afghan refugees located at Quantico are in the process of being relocated off base. The support staff is looking for used/new suitcases to provide to the refugees to aid in moving their belongings. If you wish to donate one, please bring it to the church by next weekend, December 12th, and leave them in the mailroom, opposite Room 21. Acolyte Program
Youth who are in 6th-10th grade are invited to join the newly resumed Acolyte Program. We are offering training this coming Sunday, December 5 from 4:30-5:00 PM as well as Sunday, January 9 from 3:00-5:00 PM.  If you are interested in learning more about becoming an acolyte, please feel free to attend the training and see if it might be a way you feel comfortable serving at POPLC. Please contact Kris Salmi with any questions at [email protected].

When shopping for gifts for our family and friends this Holiday season, please consider purchasing something extra for our Hypothermia guests. This year, our clothing donation will be tailored to essential items with the focus on “comfort & warmth”.

Hosts Needed! 

January 18 – January 22, 2022
Host families are needed to house 25 faculty/students from Concordia University, Mequon, WI
From January 18 to January 22, 2022. The Students for Life will come by bus and need rides to and from their host's house to LSLC daily. Host responsibilities include transportation to and from church, providing accommodations, and breakfast. Please consider hosting!
A Host Potluck Dinner is planned for after the March for Life on Friday, January 21, 2022 at LSLC about 6 pm. All hosts and any interested church members are invited to attend the dinner. Contact Mary Heetland at 703-865-6953.
