| | Thank you for helping ECHO care for families in our community this holiday season! | | Bells of Peace Is Ringing Again! | | |
We're excited to bring handbells back to Prince of Peace! Bells of Peace, led by longtime PoP member Kristin Panzenhagen, kicks off Sunday, November 8 - and we'd love for you to join us!
Curious about handbells? Come check them out at our first gathering on November 8! This will be a relaxed opportunity to explore the instruments, meet fellow musicians, and see what ringing is all about. No previous handbell experience is necessary, although some musical background is helpful.
Rehearsals: Sundays, 7:30–8:30 PM, in the Choir Room
We'll begin preparing music for our December 13th Christmas Concert on November 15th. There will be no rehearsals December 13–January 3, but we'll resume January 10.
Whether you're ready to ring or just want to see what all the excitement is about, come give Bells of Peace a try!
Contact: Kristin Panzenhagen with questions.

Bill asked his friend, Mike, “Do you have an estate plan in place?” Mike answered, “I really am not very motivated to get after that task. Our children are far better off financially than we are, and they really don’t need the small inheritance we will give them. So why bother?” Bill responded, “What a blessing that your children are so financially secure. But have you ever thought that you have something far more valuable to share with them? All their life, you have pointed them to Jesus. What would you think about summarizing that focus in one final statement that you include in your estate documents?” Mike replied, “I haven’t thought about it before. I should have. But that does sound like something I should be doing. I don’t want to put that off.”
Your LCMS Foundation Gift Planning Counselor has some examples of Christian Preambles/Family Blessings. Even a simple worksheet, to get you started on the task of creating your concise statement of faith, as you exhort future generations coming after you to continue walking in the faith, just as you have.
