You may have noticed leaks in several places in the Sanctuary and in areas under the flat roof. We have spent about $20,000 on repairs over the last eight years and have been able to extend the life of the roof. However, now is the time for a total replacement.
Due to your generous giving in the past, we were able to make a down payment of $175,000. We hope to have reserve funds of around $100,000 at the end of this fiscal year. We now need to raise the remaining $225,000 to complete the work.
Please carefully consider what you can do to help. Make checks payable to Prince of Peace and write “ROOF” in the memo line.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Blessings,
Brad

This Sunday, the pews at Prince of Peace will showcase nearly 140 handmade quilts created by our quilters since January, along with baby quilts that will be donated to ASSIST and the MaRiH Center.
During worship, the quilts will be blessed before being shipped to Lutheran World Relief, bringing comfort and hope to people around the world. We invite you to enjoy this beautiful display of faith and service, and please sit gently to help protect the quilts.
Please note: The quilts are not for sale. Our annual quilt sale will be held later this year in November/December.

The Prince of Peace Endowment
Securing Our Future
| | Do you have a vision for a new ministry or a project that aligns with our mission? The Endowment is designed to bring those visions to life. | |
The Prince of Peace Endowment is more than a fund; it is a permanent foundation for our mission. By preserving the principal and only distributing a portion of the earnings, we ensure that your gifts become a living legacy—supporting the Gospel at Prince of Peace for generations to come.
How It Works
Professional Oversight: Our funds are managed by the LCMS Foundation, providing expert, faith-aligned investment stewardship.
Integrity & Security: The Endowment is independent of the general operating budget. The church cannot "spend down" the principal, ensuring the fund remains a perpetual source of support.
Strategic Growth: A portion of annual earnings is distributed to fuel specific ministry initiatives that fall outside our normal operating expenses.

We’re excited to announce Pray & Go, our annual outreach focus for the month of July. This is a 30-day journey where we commit just 5–7 minutes each day to pray, read, and intentionally live out the Great Commission. We believe God will use this time to grow our faith and help us reach others in authentic ways.
(Optional bonus) In addition, for those who would like to participate, we’ll gather every Sunday between services throughout July to pray together, encourage one another, and share what we’ve been learning from the book and testimonies. Whether you’ve been attending regularly or are just getting started, this is a great opportunity to Grow Together in faith and community. These gatherings will take place in Room 21.
The commitment begins Wednesday, July 1, and participants must pick up their book by June 28. Books will be available for pick-up under the big cross in the church lobby on Sundays in June. Registration is now open—we encourage every member to take part!
