Vacation Bible School is quickly approaching and we need YOUR help! Volunteer spots are filling up, but even if you can't volunteer at VBS, there are other ways to be a part of this special week! Are you able to help in any of the following ways?

Did someone say Pool Party? All Youth in Grades 7 through 12 are invited to join us at the Rolling Hills Swim Club on Wednesday, July 16th from 5pm to 8pm. Pizza and soda will be provided. Please bring $5 per person and don't forget a towel! Alex Lillis

Our Middle School and High School Summer Youth Trips are both THIS MONTH and we have not yet reached our fundraising goal! Are you able to help out? Pick any envelope from our Envelope Fundraiser poster in the church lobby and return it with your donation. All donations go toward our Middle School Trip to the CIY-MIX Gathering in Huntingdon, PA and our High School Trip to the LCMS Youth Gathering in New Orleans, LA.

Join us at our Women's Summer Bible Study where we will be diving into the Psalms and connect them to various Bible Stories. We understand that summer time can be busy. We would love for you to join us for as many as you are able! Sessions are stand-alone and are easy to pick up or do on your own if you miss. Invite a friend! Books are $20. Cash or checks can be made out to Visual Faith Ministry. You are welcome to drop off payment to Sara in the office or bring to the first session.

We need persons with an interest in building a strong diverse community in our Prince of Peace neighborhood. Our ESL program, which runs from September to May, needs people who enjoy interacting with people of various cultures who are anxious to learn the English language in their new home in Northern VA. The teaching commitment is for one day a week for two hours and requires no special teaching experience. This is a "Serve the World" opportunity for you in the Prince of Peace community!!

Donate Your Used Books

You will notice the big green book donation bin in the front parking lot facing Old Keene Mill. Your books will be put back into circulation and the proceeds of the sale will go to help finance the youth trips this Summer. What a great way to share those books that you have loved and bless others with them again.
