Prince of Peace friends, your response to our Hypothermia Program and Angel Tree ministry has been truly overwhelming. We thank God for your generosity and for the many ways you have shared His love through financial support, time, meals, warm clothing, and thoughtful gifts. Because of you, our overnight guests are being welcomed with dignity, care, and compassion, and children are being reminded they are loved and not forgotten.

In these moments, we see our vision come to life as we Know God, Grow Together, and Serve the World. Thank you for serving with open hands and open hearts as we share the love and hope of Jesus this Christmas.

ECHO Says Thank You!

Thank you, Elves and Donors!

Because of our donors' generosity, ECHO elves transformed a space in our building into a wonderland of gifts to bring joy to hundreds of children in our area whose families are struggling financially. Thanks to all who contributed!

Announcements

Are you new to Prince of Peace? Or maybe you’ve been attending for a little while and would simply like to learn more? We warmly invite you to join us for a Meet Prince of Peace event on Sunday, January 18th, from 9:15–10:15 AM in Room 21.

This will be a relaxed and welcoming time to hear from Pastor Michael Hayes as he shares about our church’s story, mission, and community life. It’s also a great chance for us to get to know you! Some of our staff will drop by so you can put faces to names and feel more at home here.

To help us plan, please let us know if you’ll be attending by emailing Tiffany Sears

Childcare is available—we have a fully staffed nursery for infants through age 4, and Sunday School classes for older children. You’re also welcome to bring your children with you to the event if that’s more comfortable for you.

We hope you’ll join us!

Important BOSL Update

BoSL member Patty Bryant has moved away and cannot complete her term. Per our Bylaws: when a vacancy opens, it is the responsibility of the BoSL to find a member to complete the term. Lori Martin has graciously accepted to complete Patty's term. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to the BoSL.

Cina Deaton Memorial Scholarship Fund

It is our joy to honor Cina Arico Deaton with a memorial scholarship fund, and to continue her legacy of blessing children and families with the opportunity to attend Prince of Peace Lutheran School. Cina served as our Principal from 1995 to 2008, and we continue to be impacted by her strong, positive influence on our school ministry. She is fondly remembered with deep gratitude and affection, beloved for her extraordinary kindness, loving approach to teaching children, and thoughtful care for everyone the Lord placed in her path.
