Holy Communion is served at the 8:00 on the 1st & 3rd Sundays and at the 10:30 on the 2nd & 4th Sundays. 5th Sundays have communion at both the 8:00 & 10:30.

Join us this Wednesday at 12-Noon for our final Lenten worship and lunch.

Palm Sunday, which signifies the start of Holy Week, celebrates Jesus' victorious arrival in Jerusalem. Come join us as we wave palm branches and sing, "Hosanna to the King of Kings!" The Rev. Dr. John Denninger, former president of the LCMS Southeastern District, will be sharing a special message with us that you don't want to miss.

Sara Wilson Accepts call to be the Grow Together Director at Prince of Peace!

Greetings Prince of Peace Brothers & Sisters!

It is an honor and a privilege to receive the congregational call to be the Grow Together Director at Prince of Peace. The Lord’s presence is clearly seen and felt here, and I’m so blessed to be a part of building God’s kingdom with all of you. It is with great joy to accept the call and continue to join in the mission to make disciples of Jesus of all nations who Know God, Grow Together and Serve the World here at Prince of Peace.

I look forward to following Jesus’ path of how to best Grow Together in Christ-centered communities. It is a blessing to be surrounded by the great support of the Body of Christ working together in just the way He designed.

WGTS 91.9, our local Christian radio station, is excited to announce a sticker stop at Prince of Peace THIS Tuesday, April 8th, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. We invite you to come by whenever you can to enjoy the festivities, share in prayer, and grab your WGTS 91.9 sticker! They'll also have other fun goodies, so be sure not to miss out.

Bible Distribution In Asia

Prince of Peace has been given the opportunity to participate in Bible Distribution in Asia this Summer. Each Bible costs $5 and we hope to be able to distribute 1,000 Bibles. Please see Brad Womble if you are interested in helping to serve the world in such a special way.

ECHO Shred & Share Event

There will be a Community Shred and Share Event on Saturday, April 26, 11:00 am until 2:00 pm (or until the trucks are full) at Kirkwood Presbyterian Church, 8336 Carrleigh Parkway, Springfield. They offer secure paper shredding plus electronics recycling, and ask only that you bring a donation of non-perishable canned or boxed foods or personal hygiene items for ECHO’s Food Pantry. Mark your calendars for our egg-citing annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 12th from 10 AM to noon! We’re on the hunt for plastic eggs and nut-free candy donations to stuff those eggs full of sweetness, so swing by the church office with your goodies. Want to lend a hand? We've got sign-ups for both youth and adults eager to help out! Plus, if you’re ready to join the egg-sploration, there’s a sign-up for that too! Sign up below. (Participants, please bring your own basket to collect eggs.)

Are you new to Prince of Peace? Even if you have been attending for some time and would like to know more, we invite you to come Sunday, April 27, from 9:15 — 10:15 AM in room 21, for a Meet Prince of Peace event. Pastor Michael Hayes will be presenting some information to help you get to know about our church family and share some of our history. We would love to get to know more about you too. Some of our staff will stop in so you can meet them as well.

Please let us know if you plan to attend by emailing Tiffany Sears. If you need childcare, we have a staffed nursery for infants through age 4 and we have Sunday School classes for the older children. You are welcome to bring your children with you too!
