Join us at our Women's Summer Bible Study where we will be diving into the Psalms and connect them to various Bible Stories. We understand that summer time can be busy. We would love for you to join us for as many as you are able! Sessions are stand-alone and are easy to pick up or do on your own if you miss. Invite a friend! Books are $20. Cash or checks can be made out to Visual Faith Ministry. You are welcome to drop off payment to Sara in the office or bring to the first session.

We need persons with an interest in building a strong diverse community in our Prince of Peace neighborhood. Our ESL program, which runs from September to May, needs people who enjoy interacting with people of various cultures who are anxious to learn the English language in their new home in Northern VA. The teaching commitment is for one day a week for two hours and requires no special teaching experience. This is a "Serve the World" opportunity for you in the Prince of Peace community!!

All Men of Prince of Peace are invited to join in fellowship for a breakfast on June 28th at 8:00 am. We have also invited men from our neighboring sister LCMS churches to share fellowship time with us. There will be a guest speaker, Vincent Douillard (Navy veteran, Top Gun graduate) who will share his experiences as a fighter pilot and also his faith walk during and after his service to our country. Mr. Steve Stephens from Bethany Lutheran Church, and Aivars Baumanis from POP, will include a brief presentation on the Southeastern District Convention held in May. We need your help for VBS! Our VBS participant spots are completely full, and we need more people to serve as Crew Leaders in order to accept participants from our waitlist. A Crew Leader is the designated guide for a small crew of 4 to 6 kids, leading them from station to station each day. Can you serve as a Crew Leader and help us share the love of Jesus at VBS with more kids in our community?

Donate Your Used Books

You will notice the big green book donation bin in the front parking lot facing Old Keene Mill. Your books will be put back into circulation and the proceeds of the sale will go to help finance the youth trips this Summer. What a great way to share those books that you have loved and bless others with them again.
