Announcements

Thank You Prince of Peace!

Dear Prince of Peace Family,

The love and support you have shown me and my family since losing my mom, Rachel, has meant more to me than I can possibly say. The prayers, gifts, cards, phone calls, texts, hugs, kind words, and simply asking, “How are you doing?”—all of it has helped carry me through some really hard days.

I miss my mom terribly, but I am so thankful to know where she is. She loved the Lord with all her heart, and there is so much comfort in knowing that she is now in His presence, whole and free from all the suffering she endured here.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for loving me and my family so well. I am so very grateful for my Prince of Peace family.

Your sister in Christ,

Tiffany Sears

Please consider giving an hour or two to one of our biggest community events of the year.

Are you in a Grow Group?

Looking to take the next step in your faith journey? Be sure to stop by the Grow Group Connection Fair on September 13 in the church lobby! Grow Groups are a wonderful way to build meaningful relationships, grow in God's Word, and encourage one another throughout the week.

Whether you're new to Grow Groups or looking for a new group to join, you'll have the opportunity to meet leaders, learn about the different groups we offer, and find one that's a great fit for you.

This fall, our entire congregation will be participating in a churchwide Grow Group campaign beginning September 20. Throughout the campaign, Grow Groups will follow along with the weekly sermon series, giving everyone the opportunity to dig deeper into God's Word together and continue the conversation beyond Sunday morning.

We hope you'll stop by the Connection Fair and find a group where you can grow in faith and community as we journey through this exciting season together.

Walk Where Jesus Walked

Holy Land Tour 2027

Pastor John and Connie Denninger will be leading their 10th tour to the Holy Land in January 2027, and they would love to have a few Prince of Peace friends join them!

With groups traveling to Israel throughout the summer and additional tours planned for this fall, this is a wonderful opportunity to experience the Holy Land with a small group and experienced leaders. There is currently space for four more travelers, and registration will close in mid-September.

Walk where Jesus walked, see the places you've read about in Scripture, and experience the Bible in a whole new way.

Interested in learning more? Email connie.denninger@gmail.com to request a PDF brochure, or pick up a copy in the church office.

Livestream Ministry Volunteers Needed

Can you give just one Sunday a month to help us share the Gospel beyond these walls?

Our livestream ministry reaches people who are homebound, traveling, exploring faith, or simply unable to worship with us in person. It's an important part of how we care for our church family and connect with our community.

The good news is that no experience is necessary! We'll provide all the training you need, and it's much easier than you might think. Teenagers are welcome to sign up! Whether you can serve once a month or even every other month, your time can make a real difference.
