Holy Communion is served at the 8:00 on the 1st & 3rd Sundays and at the 10:30 on the 2nd & 4th Sundays. 5th Sundays have communion at both the 8:00 & 10:30.

Confirmation Weekend is here! Everyone is invited to join us in celebrating as students confirm their faith in Jesus!

Confirmation Class Witness: On Saturday, May 3rd at 5pm in the Sanctuary, Confirmands will give witness to their personal faith through their Confirmation Faith Creations.

The Rite of Confirmation: During the 10:30am service on Sunday, May 4th, Confirmands will confirm their Faith before the congregation.

Support the Youth Group through our Envelope Fundraiser! In the Narthex, you'll find a board with colored envelopes. Please take an envelope of any dollar amount and return it to the office or offering plate with your donation. All donations go toward our Summer Youth Trips!

On June 1st, at both the 8am and 10:30am services, we will be honoring those who are graduating from high school, college, graduate school, trade school, apprenticeship programs, and the like. We will be offering a blessing and a small gift to all those registered. If you are graduating, we want to celebrate you! Please register by May 25th!

We invite you to partake in a divine gathering on June 8th, unveiling a glimpse of heaven itself as our diverse congregations unite to honor the Lord and rejoice in the wondrous acts of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost.

Following our worship service, we will bask in the warmth of fellowship over a shared meal. Kindly bring a dish to contribute to our communal feast.

Please note, on June 8th, there will be no services at 8:00 or 10:30, nor will there be Sunday School; instead, we shall gather for the All Nations Worship at 10:00 am.

Yard signs are also available at the welcome table for you to take home and put in your yard!

Donate Your Used Books

You will notice the big green book donation bin in the front parking lot facing Old Keene Mill. Your books will be put back into circulation and the proceeds of the sale will go to help finance the youth trips this Summer. What a great way to share those books that you have loved and bless others with them again.

The Local Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive will provide a major boost for ECHO’s Food Pantry. All members of our community can help on Saturday, May 10, by leaving a bag with any amount of non-perishable food by their mailboxes before their letter carriers come to deliver mail. Mail Carriers will bring the donations to ECHO which serves local households in need of food assistance. Food received from the West Springfield, Burke, Central Springfield, and North Springfield post offices will be given to ECHO. A list of the most-needed items can be found at www.echo-inc.org, but all non-perishable foods that are not expired are welcome.

Bible Distribution Update

Prince of Peace has been given the opportunity to participate in Bible Distribution in Asia this Summer. Each Bible costs $5 and we hope to be able to distribute 1,000 Bibles. We are also collecting funds for food and rice bags for churches in Asia. The cost is $100-$150 per church and we are hoping to bless 8 churches with food and rice bags. Please see Brad Womble if you are interested in helping to serve the world in such a special way. Additionally, we are collecting school supplies to give to the schools in Asia. School supplies can be dropped off in the main office between now and May 9th.
