Welcome to Community Connect - March 4, 2024

We Offer Bereavement Support!

We are strongly committed to our bereavement program, as we know that caregiving and the loss of a loved one is often physically and emotionally exhausting. Both of our bereavement groups are places of healing and support, safe places to share feelings as well as stories and memories of those no longer here.

  • Our regular bereavement group, which for over 25 years has met the needs of family members who have recently lost a loved one to cancer, continues to meet each Thursday.
  • The “Moving Forward” group is for those who are further along in their grief journey and ready to explore in a safe place with others questions such as “Who am I now that my loved one has died?” “How do I move forward?”

Both groups are professionally facilitated by Anne Gessert, LMFT, who has facilitated CSC bereavement groups for over 25 years. Download the flyer for more information.
