Welcome to Community Connect - May 4, 2025

Meet Our New Outreach Coordinator:

Hi everyone, I’m Nadia! I was born and raised right here in Ventura County. I graduated from Channel Islands University with a bachelor’s in communications, and an associate's degree in behavioral science.

My aspiration is to become a lawyer in the future. What drew me to Cancer Support Community was their promise to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered and strengthened through the community during challenging times. Before my time at Cancer Support Community I worked at a couple non-profits here in Ventura County, where I found my passion working in the non-profit world.

My intent is to make a difference in my community and help others through awareness. In my spare time, I love painting, hiking, traveling, and spending time with my dogs. I am truly excited to be working at Cancer Community Support and dedicated to helping our community.
