UMCOR - Early Response Team Training

THIS SATURDAY!

Early Response Team (ERT) Training: You may have heard about the ERT team from Linda D’Allen, who completed the training and has gone on two trips to help with storm recovery. Called to respond to all people suffering from emergencies and disasters, United Methodists find UMCOR’s extensive training offerings support them in their churches, districts, and conferences. Embedded in all UMCOR training is the underlying message of love and hope that The United Methodist Church offers. Because of who we are, UMCOR’s trainings embrace a ministry of presence - a loving recognition that spiritual bruises and emotional scars matter as much to us as broken doors and windows. Please consider the training class at Cornerstone UMC on Saturday, January 12, 2019 for the UMCOR basic Early Response Team (ERT). The hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm. Team 1: Chicken and Sausage Gumbo over rice (Savory not hot!!), French bread, Surprise Dessert

Children 5-12 years $3; Under 5 Free; All others $7
