Caring for Each Other
Granny Annie Delivers Thanksgiving: Are you dreading Thanksgiving this year without your usual crew or are you missing the church potluck? Is the thought of preparing Thanksgiving dinner daunting? Granny Annie returns from retirement to deliver for you with a little help from her friends. Right now Granny Annie needs to know (1) who wants a dinner, for how many people and with what dietary requirements (e.g., vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free), (2) who wants to make pumpkin pie filling, yam casserole, green beans, or cranberry sauce – all of these should be plain classic recipes, (3) who wants to come into the church kitchen the afternoon before Thanksgiving and pack the containers, and (4) who wants to deliver meals on Thanksgiving morning. If you are called to eat or cook or pack or deliver, please contact Granny Annie (aka Anne Perry). Don’t delay. Granny likes to plan ahead.
