Environmental Justice Ministry Green Tip
New research shows that pesticides commonly used in American agriculture are devastating the organisms that make dirt become healthy soil instead of just dust. And since we want to eat healthier organically raised food, it’s important to know about the pesticides with which many of our crops are treated. And – what not to use in our own gardens. Learn more here.
Have you included the First Unitarian Church of Rochester in your legacy planning?
Perhaps through a bequest in your will, or as a beneficiary on a retirement account or insurance policy? If so, we want to hear about it! The Legacy Society is updating our records, and we want to be sure to include you in all the fun events we have planned for the coming year. Please let us know, even if you think we already know, by sending an email to legacysociety@rochesterunitarian.org or calling Bruce Fredericks at 585-233-2857.

Golf with friend from church this Summer!
"First Unitarian Thwackers" invite you to join them each Thursday for a friendly, non-competitive round of golf followed by a little lunch and conversation, if you have time. We alternate through many local public courses, so the green surroundings keep changing. It's literally a walk (or ride) in the park. If interested or have questions, please contact Paul Suwijn.
