Greetings!

"Now when Jesus heard this, he withdrew from there in a boat to a deserted place by himself. But when the crowds heard it, they followed him on foot from the towns. When he went ashore, he saw a great crowd; and he had compassion for them and cured their sick. When it was evening, the disciples came to him and said, “This is a deserted place, and the hour is now late; send the crowds away so that they may go into the villages and buy food for themselves.” Jesus said to them, “They need not go away; you give them something to eat.” They replied, “We have nothing here but five loaves and two fish.” And he said, “Bring them here to me.” Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven, and blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds. And all ate and were filled; and they took up what was left over of the broken pieces, twelve baskets full. And those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children."

Not All Believed...
Behind the Scenes
by Pauli Hubbard

It was night and they furtively entered the candlelit room. They were not intimates; they knew each other but did not spend time together. They were healers, religious leaders, merchants, tax collectors and fishermen. Yet they gathered with one purpose, something must be done with this young man Jesus!

One by one they recounted stories of people healed, tax money taken out of a fish’s mouth, blasphemy and too much intimacy with God. After all, Jesus called God "Daddy"!!!! What nerve! The merchant, by this time, was red-faced and blurted out his indignation:
“I have lost money!’ Do you hear? Thousands gathered out in the desert to listen to Jesus, thousands! I had timed my people with their food carts to be ready when the people got hungry. They never came! I heard he took a little boy’s fish and bread and multiplied them. They all ate!!!! Not only that but there was leftovers! I will be ruined! It’s not right, I tell ya, we must get rid of this man, Jesus!”

No more words were spoken; each person continued to shake their heads in anger. Finally the religious leader spoke. “It is obvious that this man cannot be allowed to continue. We do not believe his message of God’s Kingdom is correct. He is a disruptor and God has chosen us, not him, to lead. He is not one of us! I will talk further with our leaders and we will find a way to get rid of him. Thank you for you words and concerns. Shalom.”

Jesus, intimate with Abba, continues to deliver his love message from God, the Father. God’s kingdom has come. He speaks with authority, forgives the burden of sin, heals and by his blessings multiple food for thousands.
The old wineskins do not fit anymore . “I have come that you might have overflowing life.”

This message continues to this day. It is God’s Kingdom World View. Are we ready to walk this way?
