Synopsis: A database including NEH grants that were canceled by DOGE as of 4.8.2025 (not including fellowships) is available online. Over 1,000 awards were terminated totaling over $363 million.

Revised Cayuse IRB Initial Submission Form Training

As of May 1, 2025, the Office of Research Integrity - Human Subjects (ORI-HS) is releasing a revised version of the Initial Submission form used for IRB review in the electronic platform Cayuse. This course is designed to give an overview of the key changes made to the submission form, explain the rationale for changes, and introduce users to the new experience offered by the revised submission form.

By the end of the training session, attendees will be able to:

Describe the main changes made to the Cayuse IRB Initial Submission form and summarize the reasons for the changes
Explain how the release of the revised Initial Submission form does and does not impact previous, current, and future studies created in Cayuse
Navigate Cayuse to open a new study to create an Initial Submission form, and successfully navigate the revised form structure
