Weekly Director Letter 1/21/2022
Dear Parents,
Although a short week, it was one filled with lots of learning. Our students were excited to experience to cooler weather! This week also marks the end of the second grading period for our K-2 students. Our teachers are working on report cards which will go home next week.

It's hard to believe that we are nearing the end of January. With February around the corner, our sights will be set on Valentine's Day. This time, honored tradition is one that is loved by all of our students. In class, students will decorate Valentine's Bags. Families are asked to send in Valentines for trading. Please help your child write THEIR NAME on the Valentines. They will have a chance to place one in each of their classmates' bags.

Please do not send Valentines that include candy. There are many other non-candy options including stickers, fruit snacks, little Valentine party favors, etc. Please send in all Valentines NO LATER THAN FEBRUARY 14th for our Valentine's Day event. On Valentine's Day students may wear red.

With so many schools closing in the area due to COVID, we are so grateful for all your help keeping sick kids home so others stay well.

Our school remains on a waitlist and we are down to our last couple of spaces that will open on June 13th. We expect to be on a waiting list for fall by the end of February.

All current families will automatically enroll for fall UNLESS YOU TELL US YOU ARE NOT RE-ENROLLING. As we have more kids on the list for Kindergarten and First Grade than we have spaces, to hold those spaces Kindergarten and First those families have been asked to commit by paying $120 of the $240 registration fee for fall. The final 2 installments of $60 each will be due in April & May.

ALL OTHER FAMILIES will be asked to pay their $240 family registration in 3 installments: $80 in March, $80 in April, & $80 in May. The installments will be billed on the first Monday of March, April, & May. New families to our school must pay the lump sum $250 when they register so returning families save $10. Also, if you have more than one child in our school only ONE registration fee is billed.

Finally, please note that VPK, and the K-2 classes have a second supply fee due February 7th. Those fees will post on that day to all Brightwheel accounts.

Parents, PLEASE remember to read the weekly letter for your child's class. Not only does the teacher work hard to keep you informed, but you may see your child mentioned as Student of the week.

Have a superb weekend!
