Dear Parents,
What a magical week we had at Kids For Kids Academy! First and foremost there are no words that could adequately thank you for your kindness toward me, my staff, and others. Thank you for the gifts you have showered on all of us as well as the pizza lunches and other goodies delivered throughout the week. Those families who donated new wrapped toys enabled us to provide 5-7 new toys to 17 children at our school to make their Christmas magical. Your donations of used items have been picked up daily and were taken to foster families by the Children's Home Society. After seeing the impact this has had and since a parent from our school works there, we will collect ongoingly to benefit these foster kids. The items in biggest demand are car seats, strollers, and pack and plays. Any time you have items to donate, simply leave them outside my door and they will get to people who so desperately need them.
I hope you enjoyed our holiday singing showcase. If you missed it, you can click here to view it anytime.
I hope you also enjoyed seeing Santa and getting the little photo. Many of you commented that this same Santa (the real one!) has taken a photo with your child since birth and you have a collection 6 years later! To download the photos feel free to click on this link.
We will be open next week, but realize many kids will be staying home. If you are keeping your child home for the holiday week and have not let us know, please send a message in Brightwheel so that we don't overshop for our meals. Please remember that tuition is billed weekly as part of your annual payment plan. This includes the week we are closed. We are closed December 24th and will reopen on Monday January 3rd.
There will be no weekly letter next week as it is a camp week and non-instructional.
May the holiday season be restful for you and a time to enjoy family and friends. I know you will all be careful with regard to COVID. I wish you all a holiday season filled with love, happiness, joy, and great health.
I am so grateful to have your family as a part of our school family.
