The handbooks include the District’s behavior expectations, explaining how the District handles matters of conduct and discipline consistently and fairly. The Mt. Lebanon School District uses SchoolMessenger to send phone, text, and email alerts to parents/guardians. Phone numbers and email addresses are pulled from contact information in the PowerSchool Dashboard. If you are not receiving messages, please check your PowerSchool Dashboard information. For any additional questions, please reach out to your student’s school secretary.

School Safety Partnership Forum

Join Mt. Lebanon School District and our community partners for an informative and engaging evening focused on safety, health, and well-being. The event will include expert-led sessions on Cyberbullying for Parents, Understanding Addiction, General Safety Tips to Keep Your Home Safe, Response to Threats in Our School Community, and Fire Safety and Lithium-Ion Batteries.
There will be two sessions for the event:

Session 1: 6:30 p.m. - 7:20 p.m.

Session 2: 7:40 p.m. - 8:30 p.m
Participants can choose to attend two sessions during the event when registering. Sessions descriptions are available on our website.

Mt. Lebanon School District Kindergarten Registration 2025-2026 School Year
On Monday, February 3, 2025, kindergarten registration will officially open for the 2025-2026 school year. To register a child for kindergarten, please complete the 2025-2026 Kindergarten Registration Sign-Up form (It will open for submission on February 3, 2025). Upon completion, kindergarten parents will be directed to the online enrollment center where kindergarten parents can download and complete all necessary registration documents; if preferred, kindergarten parents may also request a registration packet to be mailed home. Kindergarten parents may submit completed packets digitally to their future school's secretary and make an appointment to drop off registration materials.

Nominations Now Open For The 2025 Great Alumni Awards
The Great Alumni Award, established by the Mt. Lebanon High School Student Council in 2004, recognizes outstanding alumni who have made a significant impact in their communities and professions. Honorees are selected based on their exceptional contributions in at least one of the following areas: improving the lives of others, community service, volunteer work, or professional achievement. Nominations for the 2025 Great Alumni Award are being accepted through April 15, 2025. Winners will be recognized at a special luncheon and honored during the Homecoming football game this fall. Support Our Mt. Lebanon High School Cool Schools Polar Plunge Team!
Join our staff and students in making a difference! For the third year, a team of Mt. Lebanon High School Students will participate in the Cool Schools Polar Plunge at Acrisure Stadium on Friday, Feb 21st. More than 40 students from LeboSTARS, Unified Bocce, Boys’ Lacrosse, and Future Business Leaders of America will take the plunge to help support Special Olympics PA. Every dollar raised from the Polar Plunge directly benefits Special Olympics Pennsylvania, helping to provide year-round sports training and competition for over 15,000 athletes around the state. Your Plunge makes a powerful impact, promoting inclusion through sport.

Mt. Lebanon High School's Black Student Union
4th Annual Book Drive
Launched in the fall of 2021, the Mt. Lebanon High School Black Student Union (BSU) creates a safe place to discuss issues and concerns impacting Black students' lives and the Black community in Mt. Lebanon. The three pillars of the BSU are community, education, and service.
For the fourth year, the BSU is hosting a book drive from February 3 through February 28. To encourage donations from students, families, and community members, collection boxes will be placed in the foyer of every school building.

Share Your Mt. Lebanon Elementary School Memories With The Historical Society of Mt. Lebanon For Consideration In An Upcoming Exhibition
The Historical Society of Mt. Lebanon is planning a series of exhibitions on the schools in our community, starting with the seven Mt. Lebanon School District elementary schools and St. Bernard Roman Catholic School (now Ave Maria Academy). HSML's Exhibition Committee hopes to showcase former students’ memories as part of the exhibition, which will open in early spring. For more information, please visit The Historical Society of Mt.
