Congratulations to the Lebo Model UN Team for their outstanding performance last weekend at the William & Mary's Model UN Tournament. Our students competed against over 800 students from 44 high schools across the country, including powerhouse prep schools from Florida, New York, and Virginia. The Lebo Model UN Team was recognized with the Team Award for Best Diplomacy at the Conference - given to only one high school for its exemplary performance.

Twelve of our students also won individual awards in their committees. Winning 1st Place Honors were Vivian Guo, Clara Sun, and Silvana Vujevich. Capturing 2nd Place in her committee was Nadia D'Arrigo, while 3rd Place went to Julia Descalzi. Honorable Mention awards went to Alec Stefanov, Felix Yang, James Brown, Ana Momiroski, Claire Bovino, Meadow Michaelson, and Henry Druckenbrod. Coach Savarese and Coach Lumish are incredibly proud of the team.

Congratulations to the student musicians who performed for the Tree of Life remembrance ceremony in Schenley Park.  Arden Kingston, Greta Coleman, Amelia Duncan, Matthew Coleman, and William Coleman performed on instruments recovered from the Holocaust as part of the Violins of Hope exhibit.
