Wells

Where People Come to Play! Live Professional Theatre, Music and Dance. We exist for the artist. We support, nurture, help create, produce and present new work. Founded in 1999 the Sunset Theatre Society runs the historic Sunset Theatre, built in 1934. A 100 seat historic theatre situated in the rolling hills of the Cariboo Mountains in the old 'Gold-Mining' town of Wells. The Sunset Theatre offers artists retreats, rentals, production and creation services for all sizes of productions and level of artist.

Place des Arts is an established not-for-profit arts education centre located in Coquitlam’s historic Maillardville. With a mission to inspire the artist in everyone, Place des Arts offers quality and accessible arts programs in the visual, literary and performing arts for all ages and skill levels. Our Artisan Shop and three galley spaces support local emerging artists, and our events and performances make us a cultural hub, drawing together diverse members of the community to experience the arts.
