WELCOME SUNDAY
This Sunday, October 5, we will gather as a whole community at one worship service at 9am! Along with this and our usual first Sunday breakfast, we will also welcome new community partners. If you would like to know more about making this your church home, please talk to Pastor Heather and/or come to the Information Session she's offering this Saturday, October 4 at 10:30am.
PLUS we want to make a concerted effort to invite people to worship that day, so we will be talking about this in worship - who will you invite? We will have gifts to give visitors that day so please start inviting friends and neighbors to join us that day!

Come anytime! | | Sunday Faith Formation has a week off this Sunday, but starting on October 12 at 11am, Heather Strand will offer insights into living your best faithful life with a class entitled Love Who You Are: Be Your Own BFF. CarePortal UPDATE
New Life is thrilled to have met a CarePortal need in September. Through our donation we were able to help a survivor of human trafficking purchase diapers, wipes, and other baby supplies. This recipient also requested an invite to attend church so we are hopeful that we could welcome her to a New Life service soon. Thank you to our CarePortal team for making this possible! If you would like to know more about CarePortal, please contact Nicole Hines.

ST MARK'S FOOD PANTRY
Thank you to all who have donated to St Mark’s food pantry. Last week your donations again filled the back of our SUV. Your support and generosity is so appreciated by those working at the pantry. It allows those shopping the pantry to have a more pleasant experience since they get the foods they want. Although any donations of shelf stable food are welcome, canned fruit, diced tomatoes and jam are currently in short supply. Donations can be placed on the table in the community room. Paper, plastic and reusable bags can also be donated.

SOCIAL PURPOSE FUND
We continue to need your help in order to be able to distribute gift cards to those in need - which totals on average about $1,000 every month! Because of the increased need, if you would be able to give to this fund, please submit checks with "Social Purpose Fund" in the memo or give online to that fund. Thank you! Also, please know that if you are experiencing any financial need (rent/mortgage, utilities, groceries, medical, unemployment/furlough, etc.) you only need to let Pastor Heather know. This information will be kept confidential to her and our financial officers (treasurer and bookkeeper).
