NAMETAGS
During the height of Covid, it didn’t feel safe to bring back nametags in the way we used to use them. But with so many new people and visitors each week, we need to restore this hospitable practice. We have nametags pre-printed on the partition in the Community Room for all regular attenders - plus blank nametag cards available for visitors. If you don't find yours there, please sign the sheet on the table next to the partition and we will make one for you! Once you get your nametag, it's yours to keep and take home and bring back with you each time you come to church.

Do You Like Breakfast?
Who doesn't enjoy having some good food with friends on a Sunday morning after church service?
We NEED someone to sign up to prepare and serve our "First Sunday of the Month" Breakfast on JULY 3rd. You could even make it a simple "campfire breakfast" or patriotic Red-White-Blue theme! It's not difficult to do, and you can enlist the help of some friends! Please see the sign-up sheet on the window by the kitchen serving counter, or let the office know.
Let's enjoy a great start to the month of JUNE!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR JUNE WELCOME TEAM
We always encourage and appreciate volunteers for the Welcome Team to help out with parts of the worship service, such as greeter, welcome table, usher, tellers and coffee server. For JUNE please sign up here.
Help us fill in the gaps.
Anyone is invited to join the Welcome Team anytime!

JOIN US FOR WACKY WEDNESDAYS
Dinner and Wacky Wednesday takes place tonight for ALL AGES, with dinner beginning at 5:30 pm!
Tonight we will enjoy time together around a Bonfire with S'mores and hot dogs! Next week we will be having a crazy sock and shoe night!
Tonight's meal will be hot dogs and smores on the Bonfire, but we need more helpers for all the Wednesday dinners in JUNE! If you can help, it's easy, and you can get family, friends, or a group to help you! See the sign-up sheets by the kitchen serving window. And then after dinner, we’ll select a couple of different wacky activities to do together – outdoor and indoor options. For example, crafts, games, or movies inside and group games or projects outside (weather permitting).
Come and enjoy good food, fun, and fellowship!

MEN’S GROUP
Hey guys! Want to get together on a regular basis? We would like to offer a time for the men of our community to gather and be strengthened in their faith. We will initially meet on Saturday mornings at church. If this is of interest to you, please let the office know. The group will start meeting the morning of Saturday, June 11 at 8:00-9:00 a.m. in Classroom A and will go from there.

NEW LIFE CHURCH GOLFERS
The New Life Golf Group has been gathering every Thursday since mid-May. Although Eagles and Birdies are not common sights, the weather has been getting better, the course is in great condition, and enjoyment has become the norm. We have heard that personal schedules have changed and there might be interest in adding another foursome. Before we reach out to Door Creek to see if another tee time is available, we would like to know if we can get another four persons to commit. Please get back to Verne Scholl or David Hayward before Tuesday, June 14th if you are willing to commit weekly. The commitment would run through August 25th.
We will keep a list of names of others who are interested when someone cannot make it. We are scheduling the foursomes two weeks in advance to ensure we can keep our tee time a full foursome. We use no formalized selection, other than send the interested group email request out, and the first one to respond with a “yes” is in for that week.
At this time we cannot guarantee we will be able to get the additional tee time, but the sooner we have the information, the better chance we have.

SUPER SALE

WAYS TO PARTNER
We have established a partnership with the Nehemiah Center, which means that we will be looking for and offering ways for you to connect with their leadership in our area serving communities of color. We will highlight ways that you can personally and with your family grow this partnership alongside what we're doing as a congregation. Kathy Mullen is currently collecting the following items (women's toiletries): shampoo and conditioner, toothbrush and toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, razors, lotion, deodorant and body wash. Just place items on or around the table in the front lobby.
Other ways you and your family can partner: support black-owned businesses (click here for a list), visit www.lirs.org to support refugees, visit www.ldr.org to help with disaster response around the nation, or www.elca.org to find another way to give back to people in need.
