MAY 20 - ST. BALDRICK'S FUNDRAISER
Attention Students and Parents / Guardians:
Lewis F. Mayer Middle School is hosting a fundraising event for St. Baldrick's - Warriors SHAVE the Day - on Monday, May 20 from 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM in the MS gym.
If you, your child, or someone else would like to participate in the event and have their head shaved to support St. Baldrick's, you can register by visiting our
and clicking on the blue "Join Us" button. Once registered, you will have your own personal fundraising page, where donations can be made online via credit card. Donations can also be made by printing the
. Shavees can collect the forms with cash or checks made out to St. Baldrick's Foundation and submit them to the MS office up until the day of the event. We suggest a minimum of a $25 donation per participant in order to get their head shaved. If participants raise at least $50, they will be given a t-shirt from St. Baldrick's.
If a student wishes to participate,
a permission slip
will need to be signed, dated and returned. The permission slip acknowledges that your child will be participating in the event by shaving their head and doing the associated fundraising.
If you'd like to come and watch your child get their head shaved, you are welcome to do so!
This is a FUNDRAISER and we will be welcoming donations, even if you're not donating to support someone shaving their head. Help us make this event successful, supporting St. Baldrick's in their mission to fund childhood cancer research grants!
