A good way to get through this cold weather is to plan ahead! So thinking that we have around 85 more days til summer vacation sounds very warm!

Now that we are in the middle of the school year, it is always a good time to do the following with your child:

1) Supplies - do they need to get some more school supplies? (new folders, pencils, paper, etc.)

2) Sleep - is your child getting enough sleep?  Do they have a good routine on getting to bed at a decent time so they get 8-10 hours of sleep?

3) Work - is your child finding a time each night (Monday-Thursday) to spend time reviewing work, finishing some work up or reading?  There is always something to do for school!

II. If you or someone you know is a Federal Employees that are affected by the government shut down, please contact me as I have some resources that can help get food on the table.

III.  Please don't forget to check out the  FACE page (from parent tab, under F, click on FACE).  Listed are all upcoming events and many resources for all!!!
