Sermon Series October 6 - November 30, 2024

The book of Acts describes the birth of the Church and the continuation of the ministry of Jesus. It reveals God’s plan for global redemption, his purpose for our lives, and the power he has given us to accomplish his mission. While the book of Acts has an ending, the story does not. We are a part of that story today. We are the Church!

WOW! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making the 2024 Christmas Boutique & Bake Sale an incredible success! This year, we set a record, raising an amazing $21,040.84!

The proceeds will be distributed to support these important ministries:

  • 10% to the 2024 Advent of Gratitude (Alexandria’s MN Adult and Teen Challenge)
  • Feed My Sheep
  • Community Preschool of First Lutheran Church’s reading program
  • Wednesday night meals for Alex Tech students
  • Camperships for our First Lutheran Youth
  • Kitchen equipment

This was a true congregational effort, with at least 153 people baking, crafting, making lefse, and volunteering at the event. Your time and talents made this possible—thank you!

A special thanks to our boutique leadership team: Kay Larson, Kathy Moen, JoAnne Thompson, Nancy Ekdahl, Terri Heinrich, Dave Anderson, and Sally Baumann.

Mark your calendars and start crafting for next year’s boutique November 7–8, 2025. We can’t wait to see your creations!
