Sunday Life Groups Begin September 11
9:15am - 10:15am
- Classes and Child Care for children up through 5th grade
- Youth Life Group, for grades 6-12, Fireside Room, "Blueprint" led by Pam Wirth and Andrew Moritz
- Adult Life Group led by Bill Norris, Conference Room, using LifeMosaic resources. Each life is a piece of the big picture of God's story. "How do all these bits and pieces of the Bible fit together, and what do they have to do with us today?" LifeMosaic is a new curriculum for adults, published by Warner Press. It helps answer these questions with a fresh approach to studying the Scriptures.
- Adult Life Group led by Bob Liddell, Room 11, studying "The Glorified Christ" as seen through the Gospel of John
- Women's Life Group on Tuesdays, 2:00-3:30pm, beginning September 13, facilitated by Ruth Tarver, Conference Room.

Widow's Mite is a social support group for women who have lost their husbands. We meet for lunch on the 2nd Sunday of each month at various restaurants, offering support and friendship. For more information, contact Margie Tinker.

Fall study:
The Battle Plan for Prayer. "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." (James 5:16b) Are you ready to take your prayer life to the next level? Do you want to experience the joy of answered prayer on a regular basis? This Bible study is designed to help believers become more devoted to prayer and to faithfully and effectively wield the weapon of prayer in the battles and seasons of life.'This study features teaching by Alex and Stephen Kendrick on the topics of: what prayer is and is not, why God wants us to pray, specific areas of prayer, specific strategies for prayer, and more.

- Twilight Haven Weekly Worship and Bible Study on Thursdays, 2:00pm - You are invited to join us every Thursday afternoon, beginning September 8, for hymns and Bible Study, ministering to those who live at Twilight Haven, 1717 S. Winery Ave., Fresno.
- Hy-Lond Golden Living Center Monthly Worship, 4th Sunday of each month, 2:30pm. - Please join us on the 4th Sunday of each month for hymns, testimony, and scripture, ministering to those who live at Hy-Lond, 3408 E Shields Ave., Fresno. Mark your calendars for September 25 to go to Hy-Lond.
Central California Annual Three Rivers Retreat
Join Senior Adults from our sister churches in Central California for 3 days and 2 nights of worship, music, activities, sightseeing, fellowship, delicious food, and fun!

WESTSIDE CHURCH OF GOD

The day features a variety of workshop speakers who will teach about the power Christ endows us with to do his work. The day begins with a
continental breakfast. During lunch there will be a fashion show/vendor presentation.
There are also activities for all girls ages 5-17: 9am - Noon *Little Ladies (ages 5-10)-Jesus & Me Tea Party *Young Ladies (ages 11-17)-The Power of Purity, Purpose and Passion

The Men's Equipping Network
is excited to be hosting:
WHAT: 10,000 Man "Call to Prayer"
WHERE: Mountain View Community Church, 3600 N Fowler Ave, Fresno, CA
WHEN: Saturday, September 10th, from 8:00-2:30 pm.
COST: $35
, includes continental breakfast & lunch.
Churches up and down the State are being encouraged to gather their men on that same day to pray. The conference will be a live Video Conference state-wide. Two nationally known leaders will speak: Daniel Henderson, one of the top prayer leaders in the country will be leading us in prayer, and Kenny Luck, founder of Every Man Ministries, will be inspiring and challenging the men to take their walks with the Lord to another level.
