Happening This Week

This Sunday in worship, we will reflect on and celebrate the theme from the recent Church of the Brethren National Older Adult Conference (NOAC), "God is doing a new thing!" Expect a service that is alive with this theme and many participants who will lead portions of worship and share their experiences. We'll receive our message via video from Katie Shaw Thompson wo preached the closing sermon at NOAC in September of this year. Please join us this week, for Sunday School and Worship, as we seek to know and follow what the Lord is doing and saying among us!

Live Stream Worship

Our worship services are available via YouTube for those who wish to join that way. Click the link above to join us before 10:30 AM Sunday or anytime afterward. DVD copies of the services are also available.

Health and Suicide Prevention Training at our church on Saturday, November 18th. We are all familiar with Basic First Aid skills. But what if the person in need is struggling with anxiety or suicidal thoughts? Come learn about what you can do to help. We will look at the basic signs and symptoms of different diagnoses, how to spot if someone may be in distress or in need of support, how you can respond in the moment and how to support the person to get the help they may need.

Thank you so much for your cards, concern, and prayers during my recent illness. Barbara and I really appreciated all of your support during this time.

~Terry & Barb Wueschinski

A healthy baby girl, Elouise Mae, was born to Brianna and Matt Herbst this Monday October 30. Proud big brothers are Bennett and Finnley, and aunt and uncle Katie and Daniel McEvoy are delighted as well. We give thanks to God for this precious gift of life and celebrate the growth of the Herbst family!

Food Pantry Needs

Our Food Pantry continues to serve people needing food and we have seen an increase in recent months. This past Tuesday we served over 30 people.

If you would like to donate to the pantry we can always use gift cards to the local grocery stores. I know some people like to give food items, so here is a list of items we can always use.

Thank you for your support of the Food Pantry.

A big thank you to the Food Pantry volunteers who make it all work: Melanie and Jeff Miller, Jeanette Brickner, Sandi Bowser, Cathy Carson,

Arden Kile, John Anderson.

Thank you, Mary Esther Anderson
