Blending voices for Christmas Concert

Christmas Concert Carondelet and De La Salle 2018
Video provided by Michelle Koski

Our Carondelet and De La Salle choir and bands united with 28 local middle schoolers for a festive Christmas concert at the Hofmann Center on Thursday night. Joyous voices rose and fell to the melodies of classical, multi-cultural, and holiday pieces. "The audience was very spirited and so excited to kick off the Christmas season," said Michelle Koski VPA instructor.

Amy Way, Chair of Visual Arts said, "It was a thrill to work with such enthusiastic middle school students on this project! I'm really proud of our choirs energetic and engaging performances."

Buzzer Beater lifts Cougars to 50-48 win

Buzzer Beater lifts Cougars to 50-48 win.
Brooke Phillips '19 provided the video footage

E rica Miller drained a buzzer-beating, soft runner to lift Carondelet over Salesian 50-48 on Tuesday night's first  S upport O ur S isters game. Varsity forward Sydnee Davis said, "W e can truly do anything if we have faith and trust in each other and in ourselves. T he fan base was important to the win for our team because it helped exemplify how much support we truly receive from our Carondelet sisters and De La Salle brothers."

"Cougar nation was electric," said Athletic Director, Tom Williams. "Our students, parents, and staff filled the gym and the 6th woman affect was the difference maker.  W e appreciate our students embracing and answering the call to SOS and that this was an important first step in rebuilding Carondelet school spirit."
Soccer wins 9-0 in CAC varsity home opener; Anderson recognized at half-time

Our varsity soccer team won its inaugural CAC game on Thursday night. The CAC was hoppin' as the Cougars gave fans an awesome home victory.

During halftime, Goalkeeper Angelina Anderson was honored for her leadership in the U.S. Women's Soccer U-17 FIFA World Cup.  "We are honoring Angie for representing her school and her country in a very special way," said Athletic Director Thomas Williams.
Uniform Code and Skirt Length

The purpose of our uniform code is to ensure that all of our students feel comfortable, ready to learn, and united as a community. In addition, our professional dress code here on campus honors our Catholic traditions and prepares our students for professional careers later in life. Starting in January, Carondelet administrators will be conducting a uniform audit with special attention paid to skirt length. Please work with your daughter over the Christmas break to ensure that her skirt length is mid-thigh or longer. This means that the skirt hem should fall below her fingertips when her arms are relaxed at her sides.

If skirt lengths do not improve after the holiday break, we will be suspending skirt privileges for all of our students. Students are aware of these uniform expectations and the consequences for not complying with uniform code.

Please send any questions or concerns to Caitlin Main.
