Foreign exchange students visit Carondelet

Being a good neighbor happens in all sorts of ways at Carondelet.   For the second year, Carondelet welcomed international students from the International Education Center at Diablo Valley College. To help the international students, Carondelet students listened to presentations and asked questions to help the visiting students with their English.  Laura B '20 even brushed up on her Spanish by asking a question in Spanish.
Walk for Life West Coast

Thirteen students from the Human Life Club turned out for the 15th annual Walk
for Life West Coast. The walk had an estimated 50,000 participants this year.

"The Walk For Life is an exercise of our freedom of speech because we are able to openly voice our opinion without government interference.  We are able to utilize the most beautiful part of our democracy by expressing our thoughts and through this we are maintaining our freedom.  Whatever political or religious background people may be coming from, there is always this net of freedom of expression to fall back on, especially in cases of walks and marches like this," Mary S. '21.
Service Fair

We held our Service Fair for students to learn about volunteer opportunities at local community organizations. Students signed up for volunteer opportunities and met representatives from more than 15 organizations. In the spirit of our mission, we hope to serve our dear neighbor and are glad to actively support organizations that are doing works of justice in our community. Over the last five academic years, Carondelet students have served a collective 212,347 hours and counting.

Summer Enrichment Opportunities
We encourage your daughter to pursue her intellectual interests or personal passions this summer by participating in a summer program, volunteering, working, or interning. Our curated list of summer opportunities is on Schoology in the Resources folder. Many free or low-cost programs exist and these programs are often viewed as more impressive than "pay to play" programs. Now is the time to explore these options and apply.

Our Calendar is now online!
We update our online  College and Career calendar  every week with college events happening on-campus and throughout the Bay Area.  We post annual parent information nights and in-class student programs too.  Bookmark our calendar  and stay in the know. Check out the calendar here
