Collection for the Appalachian Wildlife Refuge

Hi everyone! My name is Alex Schwenger and I am a senior in Ms. Mangini's Marine Biology class. For my final, I will be collecting washed mascara brushes. These brushes will be donated to the Appalachian Wildlife Refuge and they will be helping animals who are injured or infected. These brushes help clean the larva or fly eggs off of ducks, turtles, and more! The purpose of this project is to promote how we can reuse our products and use them for a greater purpose. 14 billion pounds of garbage ends up in the ocean every year, and we are damaging our ocean and the creatures who live in it due to our waste.
I will be collected these washed mascara brushes in the inner court this Wednesday and Friday. Don't waste your products when you can reuse them and help animals!
