STEM Trip to Switzerland and Germany 2020
Ms. Levesque and Mrs. Schooler are planning another STEM trip to Switzerland and Germany from April 2 - 10, 2020.
As the world becomes more connected, it is important to increase our global perspective and cultural awareness so we reflect a greater worldview to our students. The
"Discovering STEM in Switzerland and Germany" program we chose begins in Lucerne and visits Freiburg, Munich, Zurich, Vauban and Salzburg.
We will see how the Alps formed and the effects of glaciation on the geography of the Alpine lands. We'll learn about green technology and environmental advances within urban living of the plus-energy town of Vauban. We'll look at the research, technology and production processes of the Auto industry with a BMW Factory Tour and the salt mines where Salzburg gets its name. And we'll celebrate our learning with delicious local foods!
To register for this trip
. A $200 deposit will lock in the price. Space is limited! If you have any questions or would like to hear what this year's participants thought of the trip please email Mrs. Schooler (
