January 16, 2026

Dear Residents,

We may be experiencing more snow this weekend, so it is a good time to remind everyone of the overnight parking restrictions in effect. Parking on streets is prohibited between 2:00 am and 6:00 am from November 15 through April 15. Vehicles parked on the roadway during snow events prevent the Highway Department from clearing roads effectively and increase the risk of damage to parked vehicles. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

The Tappan Fire Department needs your help—and by help, I mean your money. They are currently accepting donations to fund the installation of a 9/11 Memorial at the Tappan Triangle, honoring and paying tribute to all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, as well as those who died from 9/11-related illnesses. This memorial will serve as a lasting place of remembrance for our community and future generations. All donations, large or small, will be greatly appreciated—please consider contributing HERE.

Town Hall will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Have a great weekend.

Regards,

Teresa M. Kenny
