Dear Residents -

It’s officially spring! And with it, comes the Orangetown Parks and Recreation spring programs. As always, our staff has done a fantastic job putting together an incredible program filled with events for every member of the family, including trips, sports programs and fun classes. I would encourage you to take a look at the brochure and register for events that interest you – but note that registration opens Monday, March 24th at 5:00 pm and many programs fill up – so register as soon as you can.

Orangetown has, once again, joined forces with the Tappan Fire Department to host a Great American Cleanup. The cleanup is sponsored by Keep Rockland Beautiful and will be held on April 5, 2025 from 9 am to 11 am. There will be breakfast, courtesy of the Tappan Fire Department, and lunch after the cleanup donated by NoCo Kitchen. All are welcome and volunteers are needed. If interested, contact Allison Kardon at (845) 359-5100 x 2293 or akardon@orangetown.com.

As of now, the weather for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday is looking great. Local roads will start closing at 12:30 pm and the parade will kick off from the Pfizer parking lot at 1:30 pm. I look forward to seeing everyone along the parade route. Remember, on Sunday everyone is "Irish for the day!" ☘️

Have a great weekend everyone!

Regards,

Teresa M. Kenny
